Article 2 (How We Use Your Information)
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
To detect the baby’s rollover or movements and send notifications (alerts and images) to the user’s LINE account.
To provide, maintain, and troubleshoot the Service.
To confirm and respond to user inquiries.
To create statistical data (in a non-personally identifiable format) to improve the functionality and quality of the Service.
Article 3 (Handling of Sensitive Data and Images)
Given the nature of a baby monitoring service, we handle highly sensitive privacy data, such as images. We strictly manage this data as follows:
Storage Period of Images: Image and video data captured by cameras are routed through our system temporarily, solely for the purpose of sending notifications via LINE. Once the notification is successfully sent, the data is automatically deleted from our servers [immediately / within XX days]. We do not store this data long-term.
Prohibition of AI Training: We will never use the acquired images or videos of babies as training data for Artificial Intelligence (AI) or for any other unauthorized purposes.
Article 4 (Third-Party Disclosure)
We will not provide your personal information to any third party without your prior consent, except as permitted by applicable privacy laws and regulations, including the following cases:
When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the user’s consent.
When it is necessary to cooperate with a national or local government agency, or a person entrusted by them, in executing legal duties, and obtaining the user’s consent is likely to impede the execution of those duties.
Article 5 (Stopping the Service and Data Deletion)
Users can stop receiving notifications and halt further data collection at any time by “blocking” or “deleting” the Service’s LINE Official Account on the LINE app.
If a user wishes to delete their registered information and history retained by us, please contact us via the contact information provided in Article 7. We will process the deletion promptly.
Article 6 (Changes to This Privacy Policy)
We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy as necessary.
The updated Privacy Policy will take effect when users are notified within the Service’s LINE Official Account or when it is posted on our website.
